Practical guidance on bespoke work, materials, timing, appointments and restoration.

KimTiao assesses bespoke rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, medallions, custom casings, small sculptural objects, stone settings and selected restoration or remodelling projects. Feasibility depends on the brief and materials.

Yes. Photographs, drawings and reference images can help communicate the desired direction. KimTiao will interpret the reference into a workable design and will not reproduce another maker’s protected design exactly.

Possibly. Client-supplied materials and stones must be physically inspected for condition, content, dimensions and technical suitability before their use can be confirmed.

Pricing depends on design complexity, metal, weight, stones, labour and any specialist work. A project-specific quotation is provided after the brief is sufficiently clear.

Timing varies with complexity, revision rounds, material availability, stone sourcing and workshop requirements. An estimated schedule is discussed after the design direction and scope are established.

An appointment is strongly recommended. Calling or messaging before visiting allows KimTiao to reserve time for a focused discussion and advise what to bring.

KimTiao can assess repairs, resetting and remodelling. A physical inspection is normally required because hidden wear, prior repairs and stone condition can affect what is safely possible.

Laboratory documentation depends on the stone, supplier and purchase arrangement. Where documentation is requested or available, the relevant details should be confirmed before purchase.
